How to Measure

Use this simple guide to take accurate body measurements for the best fit.

All garments are handmade with care just for you

BEFORE YOU START

1. Wear fitted clothing or undergarments

This ensures the most accurate measurements.

2. Stand naturally

Keep your feet together, arms relaxed at your sides, and body upright.

3. Keep the tape snug, not tight.

The tape should rest comfortably against your body without squeezing.

4. Ask for help.

Some measurements are difficult to take alone. A friend can help.

1

BUST

Measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and comfortably snug around your back.

2

UNDERBUST

Measure around your ribcage directly beneath your bust. Keep the tape level, snug, and comfortable.

3

WAIST

Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually slightly above your belly button. Stand naturally and do not hold in your stomach.

4

HIPS

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.

5

ARM LENGTH

Place the tape at the shoulder point where your arm meets your shoulder. Measure down the outside of your relaxed, slightly bent arm to the wrist bone.

6

UNDERBUST TO WAIST

Measure vertically from the bottom of your underbust line straight down to your natural waistline.

7

WAIST TO HEM

Begin at your natural waist and measure straight down to the point where you want the garment’s hem to end.

8

SHOULDER TO HEM

Begin at the highest point of your shoulder near the base of your neck. Measure down the back of your body to your desired hem length.

9

INSEAM

Measure from the top of your inner thigh at the crotch seam down the inside of your leg to your desired length.

10

THIGH

Measure around the fullest part of your upper thigh. Keep the tape level, snug, and comfortable.

Crochet garments have natural stretch and may gently adapt to your shape. However, accurate measurements help us create the best possible fit for you. Please measure twice and do not intentionally size down.
