Custom Orders Policy
Each custom piece is thoughtfully made with care, intention, and time. Please review the policy below so you understand what to expect before beginning your custom-order journey with Jyil Handmade Apparel.

How It Works
Custom order requests begin with a conversation. Share your ideas, preferred colors, measurements, event date, and any other important details. We will review your request and let you know whether the project can be accepted.

Inspiration & Design Notes
You are welcome to provide photographs, sketches, colors, fabric ideas, or other references that help explain your vision. Inspiration photographs are used as a guide. Jyil Handmade Apparel will not create an exact copy of another designer’s work. Your finished piece will be created using our own design approach, techniques, and craftsmanship.

Measurements & Accuracy
Complete and accurate measurements are necessary for the best possible fit. Please use our How to Measure guide and double-check every measurement before submitting it. Jyil Handmade Apparel is not responsible for fit concerns caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated measurements provided by the customer. Crochet, fabric, and handmade materials may also stretch or relax differently depending on the construction of the piece.

Pricing & Payment Terms
Every custom order is priced individually. Pricing may be affected by the size of the piece, design complexity, materials, crochet work, machine sewing, hand sewing, beading, embellishments, and the amount of time needed to complete the design. A nonrefundable deposit is required before materials are purchased or production begins. The required deposit amount and remaining payment schedule will be explained before your order is confirmed. The remaining balance must be paid before the completed order is shipped or picked up.

Estimated Turnaround
An estimated production timeline will be provided after your design and order details have been reviewed. Completion times may vary depending on the complexity of the design, current order volume, material availability, and the amount of crochet, sewing, beading, or hand-applied work required. Production estimates do not include shipping time. Although we will do our best to meet the estimated date, completion dates cannot be guaranteed.

Rush Requests
Rush orders may be accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on our availability and the design being requested. Additional rush fees may apply. A rush request is not confirmed until the updated price and completion timeline have been approved. Please share your event date or deadline when you first submit your custom request.

Design Changes
Please carefully review your colors, design details, measurements, materials, and embellishment choices before approving your order. Once materials have been purchased or production has started, changes may not be possible. Approved changes that require additional materials, reconstruction, or labor may result in an additional fee and a longer production timeline.

Materials & Handmade Variations
Specific yarns, fabrics, beads, charms, trims, or embellishments may become unavailable. When necessary, a similar replacement may be recommended for your approval. Small variations in crochet stitches, sewing, beading, fabric placement, texture, color, or finishing details are a natural part of handmade craftsmanship. These slight differences make every Jyil Handmade Apparel piece unique and are not considered defects.

Custom Orders Are Final Sale
Because custom pieces are created specifically for the customer, custom orders are final sale and are not eligible for regular returns or exchanges. If there is a problem caused by an error on our end, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery. Include clear photographs, videos, and a description of the concern. All original tags must remain clearly attached, and the item must remain unworn, unaltered, and in its original condition. Each concern will be reviewed individually, and we will do our best to provide an appropriate resolution.
