1. Acceptance of These Terms
By visiting jyilhandmade.com, creating an account, using any website feature, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the policies linked throughout this website. Please do not use the website or submit an order if you do not agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility and Accurate Information
You must be legally able to enter into a purchase agreement in your location or have the approval of a parent or legal guardian. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, shipping, contact, sizing, and measurement information. Jyil Handmade Apparel is not responsible for delays or fit concerns caused by incomplete, outdated, or incorrect information supplied by the customer.
3. Handmade Nature of Our Pieces
Our apparel, accessories, jewelry, embellishments, crochet work, knit work, and sewn pieces are made or finished by hand. Small differences in stitch tension, bead placement, color, texture, shape, measurements, or finishing may naturally occur. These variations are part of the handmade process and help make each item unique. Minor handmade variations are not considered defects.
4. Product Descriptions and Availability
We make every reasonable effort to display product colors, dimensions, materials, and details accurately. Colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device. Products, materials, beads, trims, colors, and designs may be limited, discontinued, or unavailable. We will contact you before making a substantial substitution that was not approved in the original listing or order agreement.
5. Custom Orders and Measurements
Custom pieces are created using the details, measurements, inspiration, and approvals provided by the customer. Customers are responsible for reviewing our measurement instructions and submitting current and accurate measurements. Jyil Handmade Apparel is not responsible for fit concerns caused by incorrect measurements or physical changes that occur after measurements are submitted. Changes requested after the design, materials, or measurements have been approved may require an additional fee and may extend the processing time.
6. Pricing, Deposits, and Payment
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, customization fees, rush fees, and customs or import charges may be charged separately. Custom orders may require a nonrefundable deposit, design fee, or full payment before work begins. Any remaining balance must be paid by the agreed deadline before the order is shipped, delivered, or released for pickup.
7. Order Acceptance and Cancellations
An order confirmation does not guarantee that an order has been accepted. Jyil Handmade Apparel may decline or cancel an order because of payment issues, suspected fraud, unavailable materials, incorrect pricing, capacity limitations, safety concerns, or an inability to complete the request as agreed. Because handmade and custom work requires time and materials, customer cancellations made after materials have been purchased or work has started may not qualify for a refund.
8. Processing and Shipping
Processing time varies depending on the item, order size, design details, customization, and current workload. Processing estimates do not include shipping transit time and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Jyil Handmade Apparel is not responsible for carrier delays, severe weather, customs processing, or delays caused by an incomplete or incorrect address. Customers are responsible for applicable customs fees, duties, or import taxes. Please review our Shipping & Processing Policy for complete details.
9. Returns, Exchanges, and Order Issues
Because our pieces are handmade and often customized, all handmade items are generally final sale. When a problem has been caused by Jyil Handmade Apparel, the customer must contact us within 72 hours of delivery. The message must include the order number, a description of the problem, and clear photographs or videos. All original tags must remain attached, and the item must be unworn, unused, unwashed, and in its original condition. Approved repairs, replacements, exchanges, store credit, or other solutions are determined individually. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Please review our Returns & Exchanges Policy for complete details.
10. Care, Fit, and Customer Use
Customers are responsible for following the Care Guide and using each item appropriately. Damage caused by improper washing, drying, ironing, storage, stretching, snagging, chemicals, perfume, makeup, normal wear, accidents, or misuse is not considered a manufacturing defect. Crochet pieces, delicate fabrics, beads, charms, and embellishments may require gentle handling. Some products may contain small decorative pieces and should be kept away from young children unless the item was specifically designed for them and appropriate supervision is provided.
11. Intellectual Property
All original photographs, product designs, written copy, graphics, logos, branding, collection names, patterns, videos, website content, and creative materials belonging to Jyil Handmade Apparel are protected intellectual property. They may not be copied, reproduced, altered, resold, republished, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission. Customers submitting inspiration, logos, photographs, or artwork for a custom order are responsible for having permission to use those materials.
12. Prohibited Website Use
You may not use this website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes. You may not attempt to access another customer’s account, submit false information, interfere with website security, introduce malicious software, automatically collect website content, copy product designs, or use the website in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may use third-party payment processors, shipping providers, analytics services, social media platforms, plugins, or links to outside websites. These companies operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Jyil Handmade Apparel is not responsible for the availability, content, security, or practices of websites and services that we do not control.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jyil Handmade Apparel will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or our products. This may include losses caused by carrier delays, allergic reactions, improper care, misuse, inaccurate customer measurements, or failure to follow product instructions. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our responsibility will be limited to the amount paid for the product connected to the claim. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Customers agree to contact Jyil Handmade Apparel first and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve a concern directly. To the extent permitted by law, unresolved disputes will be handled by the appropriate state or federal courts serving the Florida county where Jyil Handmade Apparel is headquartered.
16. Privacy and Policy Updates
Use of this website is also subject to our Privacy Policy. Jyil Handmade Apparel may revise these terms when products, services, policies, technology, or legal requirements change. The updated effective date will appear at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after revised terms are published means that the revised terms are accepted to the extent permitted by law.
